Beltane

Known as the Gaelic May Day Festival.  Normally held on May 1st.

Beltane is Gaelic for Bright Fire, a Sabbath Celtic fire festival that fall directly between Winter  and Summer Solstice.  

The Goddess, Flora the May Queen manifest, as the God, Jack of the Green, the May King dance around the May Pole to represent their Unity.  The pole represents the God figure and the Ribbons representing the Goddess.

Beltane is the flowering fertility rights of the sexuality and delights of spring.
